The list for what you can do with 2D/3D CAD seems never long enough to fully encompass all its capabilities, but here is a short list to give you an idea of what I can do for you:

R&D / PROTOTYPING
You have the concept idea, but not sure how to get from there to a working model?
No worries at all, I’ll help you to break down an (complex) idea into small practical proof of principle tests, so that based on those tests a prototype can be made that has a high probability of yielding results right from the start. I can even help you write a FAT (factory acceptance test) plan and execute it too.
MACHINE / FABRICATION FILES
Depending on the fabrication method you’re using or planning to use, I can create the files that the machine-shop guys can load directly into their machines and production can start. No paper drawing required. For example:
-DXF/DWG files for sheet metal machines
-STEP files for CNC machines
-STL files for 3D printers
I can be in contact with the machine-shop directly so the only thing you have to do is receive the final product!
PATENTS
I’ll be quite honest with you here: I cannot make a whole patent for you all by myself, at least I would advise against it. You really need some legal assistance here like a patent attorney. However, a legally trained person and me together can make a mean document, that’s for sure. Complete with the necessary illustrations and technical descriptions.
ANIMATIONS / RENDERINGS / IMAGES
You want some fancy looking images for your website, brochure, business cards or even an animation? I can help with that too. Also .psd (Photoshop) or .ai (Illustrator) are amongst the various file types I can supply.
